Having recently certified as a B Corp business, the highest standard of external certification of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) standards available to for-profit companies, local change and transformation experts MasonBreese have strengthened their commitment to supporting sustainable practices and local businesses by sponsoring the Genuine Jersey Artisans’ markets.

The next Genuine Jersey market takes place this Saturday 11th May between 9am - 3pm and they continue throughout the summer until October at St Aubins; both inside and outside the Parish Hall, a full list of dates can be found on our website www.genuinejersey.je and below. The artisans’ markets feature local wares and all those sold by Genuine Jersey Members will have been grown, caught, reared or made locally.

Chris Nicol, Managing Director of MasonBreese said:

“Sponsoring the Genuine Jersey Artisans’ Markets is a great opportunity for MasonBreese, Genuine Jersey’s ethos and the role they play in supporting the local economy resonates with our values: supporting local businesses, the local community and the local economy.

Following our recent B Corp accreditation, sponsoring the Genuine Jersey Artisans’ markets felt like a natural fit and opportunity for us. Genuine Jersey is an exemplary organisation that not only makes it easier for islanders to make more sustainable choices with their purchases, but also promotes the craftsmanship and excellent produce that is home grown.”

John Garton, Chief Executive Officer, Genuine Jersey Products Association added:

“We are delighted to be welcoming MasonBreese onboard to support our Artisans’ Markets, it’s fantastic to be partnering with a business whose ethos aligns so well to that of our own. Our Artisans’ markets provide an invaluable opportunity for our Members to sell their goods directly to the public and shopping at local markets is a great opportunity to connect with the people behind the products.”
