I’m Allie Fox, the founder of Bull & Fox – a small but passionate business dedicated to reviving a traditional ingredient with a modern twist: Jersey beef tallow. Born and raised in Jersey, I’ve always had a strong connection to our land, our animals, and the rich cultural heritage we’re lucky to share.

Bull & Fox is my way of combining a love for local produce, sustainability, and nose-to-tail butchery, all while creating something practical, versatile, and proudly Jersey-made.

Beef tallow, once a staple in homes and kitchens across the British Isles, has long been overlooked – but it’s making a comeback. It’s natural, nutrient-rich, and incredibly multi-purpose. At Bull & Fox, we render small-batch tallow using only the finest local Jersey beef fat, sourced from trusted Jersey farms and butchers who share our values. Nothing artificial, nothing wasted – just pure, golden tallow, made with care.

What can you do with it? So much more than you might think. Our beef tallow can be used for cooking (it makes the crispiest roast potatoes!), as a nourishing balm for skin, lips, or dry hands, and even in handmade soaps and candles – soon to come! It’s an old-school product with modern relevance – natural, sustainable, and full of character.
Joining the Genuine Jersey family is a big step for me and the business. I’m incredibly proud to be part of a community that champions local craftsmanship, quality, and authenticity. Being able to carry the Genuine Jersey mark means I can show customers exactly what we stand for: something real, something rooted in Jersey, and something made with genuine intention.

Bull & Fox is still young, but I’ve got big plans – new tallow-based products, collaborations with other local makers, and spreading the word about the benefits of bringing back traditional fats into everyday life.
